Focused markets. Deep coverage

We prioritize structured, high-density HoReCa ecosystems over shallow global scraping. Every venue is parsed, normalized, and timestamped.

Depth over breadth.

Netherlands: our deepest market

The Netherlands is where Keggly Insights is built and battle-tested. High HoReCa density, strong cocktail culture, premium brand competition, and transparent online menu availability make it the ideal proving ground.

  • Highest HoReCa density per capita in Europe
  • Strong cocktail culture with premium spirit competition
  • High online menu availability across independent venues
  • Active premium brand distribution market

What "tracked" means

Tracked = venue menu parsed, items extracted, brands normalized, records timestamped. Not scraped headlines - structured intelligence.

Need a different geography? We can scope coverage for any market with sufficient online menu availability.

For markets where panels are thin

Some on-trade markets have strong internal sales data but limited external visibility. CGA and NIQ have established on-premise measurement in a defined set of markets; in the rest, commercial teams operate on distributor reports and trade visits alone.

Keggly adds the menu-level layer in those markets: what is listed, how it is priced, and which competitors appear venue by venue. It does not replace volume data. It explains what volume data cannot see.

Venues are not equal. We segment

Not every venue matters for every brand. We classify venues across multiple dimensions so you can target precisely - by type, positioning, category focus, and geography.

This enables tier-based activation, city-level penetration mapping, and concept-matched targeting.

Ownership

Independent vs chain. Different compliance patterns, different approach.

Menu focus

Cocktail-forward, beer-focused, wine-led, food-primary. Derived from actual menu composition.

Price positioning

Derived from menu prices. Budget, mid-range, premium, luxury.

Location signal

Google rating, review volume, urban density cluster. Proxy for venue quality and traffic.

Categories we track

We extract and normalize across all major beverage categories. Cocktail ingredient decoding adds depth beyond simple brand listing.

Category expansion follows client demand and cocktail structure mapping. If it's on a menu, we can parse it.

Not static research. Structured monitoring

Menu intelligence loses value with age. We maintain freshness through rolling re-parsing and transparent timestamping.

  • Rolling re-parse model. High-priority venues refreshed more frequently based on menu change signals.
  • Per-record timestamp. Every data point carries its parse date. You see exactly how current each record is.
  • Historical snapshots. Previous parsing runs preserved. Where available, we can show what changed between snapshots.
  • Priority-based scheduling. High-rating venues, major cities, and cocktail-forward locations parsed first.

What coverage is not

Not global scraping

We don't claim every venue everywhere. Deep, structured coverage of focused markets.

Not unverified

Every data point traces to a parsed menu source. No estimates, no interpolation, no "likely listed".

Not inventory data

Menu presence, not back-of-house stock. What's listed, not what's stored.

Not volume estimation

We track presence and pricing. We do not estimate pour volumes or sales.

Coverage is focused on execution-critical venues where brand decisions are made.
